For this S-100 project, we utilized weather data from Open Meteo. Open Meteo is an open-source weather API that offers free access for non-commercial use. The team behind Open Meteo believes that access to accurate and reliable weather data should be available to everyone. That's why the team created an open-source weather API that utilizes open-data weather forecasts provided by national weather services. Open Meteo has worked diligently to create a user-friendly API that integrates high-resolution local and global weather models, such as DWD Germany, ECMWF, NOAA, and other weather models. For further information you can check the web Open-Meteo Web.
This API uses global DWD ICON marine forecast. The basis of the DWD wave prediction is a 3rd generation spectral wave model (3G-WAveModel). Information about DWD weather models is available here.

The NAWH S-100 project provides data in two options, area of interest (AOI) based on nautical chart cells and AOI based on a 0.5 degree grid. AOI based on nautical chart cells already have an id based on the name set by pushidrosal. As for the 0.5 degree grid AOI, the id will be set based on the following image
